Urban Tales - Ludgate Street
Ludgate Street, London
Often I simply walk seeing where my feet take me. That's how I discovered Ludgate Street a narrow street within a stone's throw of St Paul's Cathedral. I recall how thrilled I was when I discovered it because, unlike the grounds of St Paul's there were no people, and it was completely silent... and all mine.
Almost like being in another world. I always think that the streets themselves, the walls and the architecture could tell me some amazing stories. This composite is made up of three of my photos and while I do like to keep true to the location (almost as an anchor) this time I blended in my photos of two famous London landmarks - The Lloyds Building and the Cheesegrater (yes we love to name our buildings) to fill the sky in the background. These two buildings reside elsewhere so if you really know this area of London it might mess with your brain a bit (as in hey, pretty sure that you can't see the Cheesegrater at the end of Ludgate St). Well, now you can. Enjoy it.
