Through a park, under a bridge and a stone's throw from the Gherkin and Cheese Grater I discover this quiet street with more beautiful architecture in London's Bishopsgate, with the City's distinctive bollards in City of London colours and pillar box just waiting for my love of symmetry to appreciate them.
Lamp posts in alignment under the bridge at the Old Mill
Westminster Bridge with Palace of Westminster (Houses of Parliament) and The Elizabeth Tower. The green colour matches the green seats in the House of Lords and the architecture of both the palace and Westminster Bridge is stunning. It's pleasant to simply stand and admire the perfect lines, spires, curves and arches. A close look will reveal hundreds of people on the bridge, most were taking photos on the bridge and what a beautiful background. The number of people on the bridge will give you an idea of how packed it is with people taking photos which can make it tricky to get a clear shot of the Palace and the bridge. So I decided to change up my vantage point walk around a bit more and cross over to the North East side. I was very pleased with my interpretation.
